Efficient staff members particularly on the reception desk. Lovely, fantastic location to the restaurant where breakfast would be taken the next day. Also - near to Dornoch and all tourist attractions and the mattress-the wildlife such as seagulls and other things making noise throughout the night...
Beds were not very comfortable.

A little hotel, my first choice in Dornoch. Great place for 2 nights with welcoming stuff particularly on the reception desk. Marvellous and incredible location in a lovely area, near to coast.

facilities in bar to dark conservatory to loud to talk and could hear most peoples conversations.
the Bed was ok
the windows were dirty. You could watch two whole movies while waiting for bath to fill shower just as bad. Hallway floor slopes and hole under carpet wallpaper bubbling and sagging third floor. Dinner was unique and overpriced. very loud music and could hear other guests going to toilet. Breakfast oh dear as ex breakfast chef soggy rubber potatoe scones and black pudden should not be served scrambled egg should not be chunky/cube like poached egg went rubber to threatened with heat fast working breakfast production line probably better getting breakfast from mcdonalds.

Charming stay despite a few hiccups
We enjoyed our stay with a lovely sea view in our room. The buffet breakfast delighted us, especially the haggis. The service had moments of inconsistency. Consider asking about menu specials for a great dining experience. A pleasant getaway amidst some areas needing attention.

Attention to detail in the restaurant was excellent, with good dishes like Skink Fish Chowder and a generous breakfast selection. The shower lacked water pressure was nice. The outside grounds could use better upkeep, and parking was insufficient. Despite some drawbacks, the staff's kindness and the overall comfort were good.
